In my 24 years in the acting business, I’ve worked alongside talent agents, casting directors and talent managers. I learned how agents and managers choose their clients, why casting directors choose the actors they audition and how an effective headshot influences these decisions.
During this time, I have personally had my own headshots taken by the top photographers in Los Angeles. We are talking thousands and thousands of photos shot by the most sought-after professionals in Tinseltown. I studied them and their work. I learned what worked and what inspired me, and I did my best to develop a unique style all my own. That’s the business side of my love of taking headshots.
The other side is purely an artful and aesthetic place. Put simply... I love taking photographs. Capturing the human form and soul excites me. For me, taking headshots is an art - the combination of my love of acting and my passion for photography. It truly makes me happy.

Is consultation necessary?
Consultation prior to the shoot is absolutely necessary. We should thoroughly discuss your goals and ideas for your shoot. Consultations are done by phone.
How many people do you shoot in a day?
The entire day is devoted to one client.
Do you shoot headshots with natural light or in the studio?
I shoot outdoors in natural light.
How long does a typical headshot photo session take?
An hour or so for makeup and wardrobe. An additional hour for each setup. Two setups would take about three hours.
Do you provide makeup? Hair?
A professional makeup artist is available. She or he will stay with you throughout your session. Come with your hair already styled. Feel free to bring your favorite hair products and accessories.
What is your availability?
I'm booked about 2 to 4 weeks in advance.
What is a "look"?
A look is a change of clothing or a change in hairstyle. I usually change the background for each look.
What kind of clothing should I bring to my headshot session?
We will discuss wardrobe during our phone consultation, as it is purely subjective and varies from client to client.
What is your re-shoot policy?
If there are any technical issues such as lighting, angles, etc., I will reshoot you, at no charge. In return, I ask the same honesty of you. If you did not do YOUR best, please take responsibility for your session.
